I can't believe the quality of the food at the Rhododendron - gourmet cuisine for which they could charge twice what they actually do! It's especially nice in the spring and summer when you can eat in the outside cafe. The breakfast omelets are outstanding and the Mediterranean chicken dish they serve for lunch and dinner is to die for. Homemade warm breads are provided and the type of bread changes frequently so you can try a different kind with each visit. The desserts are absolutely delectable. The wait staff has always gone out of their way to give me the best dining experience. Because it is nestled in the campus of the Virginia Mason Medical Center and the Inn at Virginia Mason, I don't think it is as well-known as it should be.
